The consulate office of Belgium in Dhaka does not directly handle Schengen visas; instead, they are represented by the Embassy of Sweden in Dhaka. The Sweden visa application center is the point of contact for filing Belgium visa applications.
2. Understanding the Belgium Visa Application Process:
The applicant must first identify the proper visa type before starting with the Belgium visa application. The applicant must make sure that all required documents are organized once the visa type has been chosen. It is essential to get any documents that are not in English translated.

The applicant must first download the visa application form in order to start the visa application procedure. The form is easily accessible and can be downloaded on the VFS website. The application must be downloaded, printed, and fully completed with the applicant's signature matching the one in their passport. It is essential to complete the application form accurately, as any wrong information can result in visa refusal.
4. Submission of Application and Biometric Information:
After completing the application form, the applicant must go to the visa application center in person, presenting all relevant documents. The candidate will be required to submit biometric information at the application center. This is a required step that cannot be bypassed.
5. Payment of Visa Fees:
The applicant can pay the visa fees at the VFS office. It is essential to note that the payment must be paid within the specified timeframe and via the accepted payment methods.
6. Long-Term Visa Applications:
The procedure for Bangladeshi citizens seeking long-term visas to Belgium is slightly different. These applications are filed at the Belgian visa application center in New Delhi, India.
