By obtaining a Schengen visa, you are allowed to travel any of the 26 Schengen States. But you must enter and exit through the State you have applied for the visa. And you have to submit your Schengen visa application at the embassy of your main destination.

 

Poland is one of the 26 Schengen States. Short-term visas of Poland for Bangladeshi citizens are defined as Schengen visas that are for a period of a maximum of three months. There is a consular office of Poland in Dhaka. But the Schengen visas of Poland are represented by The Embassy of Sweden in Dhaka. Sweden Visa Application Centre in Dhaka, authorized by The Embassy of Sweden in Dhaka, receives the files on behalf of the embassy. Please note, no prior appointment is required to submit your applications at the Visa Application Centre. All the documents and passports must be submitted in person at the application center.

 

As soon as visa decisions are made, passports can be collected from the visa application center in person.

Long-term visa applications of Poland for Bangladeshi citizens are submitted at the Embassy of Poland in New Delhi, India. The Poland Embassy requires in-person submission. So, the applicants need to attend at the embassy when submitting files and get a long-term Poland visa from Bangladesh.

Basic Eligibility :
Any Bangladeshi Nationals are Eligible to Apply for Poland Tourist Visa (having a valid MRP / E-Passport with at least 6 months validity) subject to provide some required Documents.
Also Applicant should,
• be a genuine visitor
• have enough funds to support his/her stay and leave

Processing Time

10 to 15 working days approximately.
(The processing time at Embassy depends on the visa categories and proper representation of the visa application to the Visa office).

Documents Requirements

1.01
Passport :
A valid passport that is original and at least 3/6 months validity is essential. Moreover,
*the passport should not be older than 10years.
*the passport must have at least two blank pages. *copies of your previous Schengen Visas (if applicable)
Note: All previous passports and Visa’s are required (if any).
1.02
A Cover Letter :
A personal letter from the applicant covering personal details,the purpose of the visit to Poland and should present a detailed trip itinerary.
The required informations are :-
1.applicants name.
2.designation.
3.passport number.
4.accommodation.
5.purpose and out lining who will be responsible for the full costs of the trip.
6.expenses etc.
(also include all the details of the other members travelling with you)

Round trip flight itinerary :
Containing the dates and flight numbers specifying entry & exit from Poland.
1.04
Photo Specification :
Passport sized photograph (3.5cm by 4.5cm)
*The photo should be a recent whole face capture with a white background.
*Neutral face expression (No smile & mouth closed) *Do not glue or staple the pictures to the application form.

Travel Insurance
Insurance must be valid for the whole Schengen area. The Insurance must cover the repatriation costs up to 30,000 Euros. The Insurance must fully cover the whole period of stay within the Schengen area.
*The conditions must be stated either on the insurance document or on a separate confirmation letter.

Flight and hotel reservations
Valid Flight and Hotel bookings or the inviter’s residence address is required

Proof of civil status :
*Marriage Certificate – if married (also NIkah Nama both in Bangla & English,for Muslim Marriage in A4 size photocopy)
*Divorce Certificate – (talak nama) if applicable.
*Death certificate – if applicable.
*Birth certificate of children – if applicable.

Invitation Letter (If Any)
An original copy of the invitation letter from company/ Organization or Friends and Family with evidence.

Applicants/Sponsors Financial Documents
*Personal Bank Statement of the last 6 months & Bank Solvency Certificate
*TIN certificate
*Income Tax certificate (Last 2 years), Tax Return (ITR)

Applicants/Sponsors Proof of Occupation and Identity
*Office ID Card/Visiting Card
*Company Letter Pad : A letter from your employer on company letterhead, with contact details, stating that a leave of absence has been granted, the purpose and duration of the trip, and that you will be returning to your current job (if you are a job holder).
*Salary slips for the last 6 months
*Valid Passport, NID, Photo, and Birth certificate.

Forwarding Letter
NOC from the applicant’s company authority on the company’s letterhead stating the applicant’s name, designation, passport number, purpose, and duration of the visa.
**The NOC letter is highly important for your Schengen visa application.(Pay slips should be included in it.

Additional Documents :
For minors below the age of 18,proof of legal parenthood (if applicable) :
*copy of either birth certificate or proof of adoption (if adopted).
*custody decree in case parents are divorced or death certificate of parents (if applicable).
*’Letter of Consent’ from the legal guardian including his/her passport copy legalized by a notary public. (only required in case the legal guardian is not present during the Visa appointment.)
