Latvia is one of the 26 Schengen States. Short-term visas of Latvia for Bangladeshi citizens are defined as Schengen visas that are for a period of maximum three months. There is no consular office of Latvia in Dhaka. The Schengen visas of Iceland are represented by The Embassy of Sweden in Dhaka. Sweden Visa Application Centre in Dhaka, authorized by The Embassy of Sweden in Dhaka, receives the files on behalf of the embassy. Please note, no prior appointment is required to submit your applications at the Visa Application Centre. All the documents and passports must be submitted in-person at the application center.
As soon as visa decisions are made, passports can be collected from the visa application center in person.

Long-term visa applications of Latvia for Bangladeshi citizens are submitted at the Embassy of Latvia in New Delhi, India. The Latvia Embassy requires in-person submission. So, the applicants need to attend at the embassy when submitting files and get a long-term Latvia visa from Bangladesh.

Basic Eligibility
Any Bangladeshi Nationals are Eligible to Apply for Latvia Tourist Visa (having a valid MRP / E-Passport with at least 6 months validity) subject to provide some required Documents.
Also Applicant should,
• be a genuine visitor
• have enough funds to support his/her stay and leave

10 to 15 Working Days approximately
Documents Requirements
Note: All previous passports and Visa’s are required (if any).
a. Should not be older than 6 months.
b. A frontal view of the face covering 70-80% (32-26mm) of the biometric photo.
c. A uniform and white background.
d. Clear facial features
e. Head coverings are only accepted for religious reasons.
Do not glue or staple the pictures to the application form.

*Income Tax certificate (Last 2 years), Tax Return (ITR)
*Company Letter Pad: A letter from your employer on company letterhead, with contact details, stating that a leave of absence has been granted, the purpose and duration of the trip, and that you will be returning to your current job (if you are a job holder).
*Salary slips for the last 6 months
*Valid Passport, NID, Photo, and Birth certificate.

“Letter of consent” from legal guardian, including his / her passport copy – legalized by a notary public
(only required in cases the legal guardian is not present during the visa appointment).
*The conditions must be stated either on the insurance document or on a separate confirmation letter.
**The NOC letter is highly important for your Schengen visa application.(Pay slips should be included in it.)
