By obtaining a Schengen visa, you are allowed to travel to any of the 26 Schengen States. But you must enter and exit through the State you have applied for the visa. And you have to submit your Schengen visa application at the embassy of your main destination.
Norway is one of the 26 Schengen States. Short-term visas of Norway for Bangladeshi citizens are defined as Schengen visas that are for a period of a maximum of three months. There is a consular office on Norway in Dhaka, Bangladesh. But the Schengen visas of Portugal are represented by The Embassy of Denmark in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Denmark Visa Application Centre in Dhaka, authorized by The Embassy of Denmark in Dhaka, receives the files on behalf of the embassy. Applicants need to fill in the application Form and pay the visa fee online using ApplyVisa.um.dk. Then submit all the required documents with the application form at the Centre. Please note, no prior appointment is required to submit your applications at the Visa Application Centre. All the documents and passports must be submitted in person at the application center.
Long-term visa applications of Norway for Bangladeshi citizens are submitted at the Denmark Visa Application Centre in Dhaka, authorized by The Embassy of Denmark in Dhaka. It requires in-person submission. So, the applicants need to attend at the Centre when submitting files and get a long-term Norwegian visa from Bangladesh.
As soon as visa decisions are made, passports can be collected from the visa application center in person.

Eligibility to Apply for Visa
Basic Eligibility
Any Bangladeshi Nationals are Eligible to Apply for Norway Tourist Visa (having a valid MRP / E-Passport with at least 6 months validity) subject to provide some required Documents.
Also Applicant should,
• be a genuine visitor
• have enough funds to support his/her stay and leave

Documents Requirements
A recent (6-month-old) two-color photo with a white background is necessary. Photos format should be in ICAO standard (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm). The photograph should be printed on matt/semi-matt paper, and without border.
*Company Letter Pad : A letter from your employer on company letterhead, with contact details, stating that a leave of absence has been granted, the purpose and duration of the trip, and that you will be returning to your current job (if you are a job holder).
*Salary slips for the last 6 months
*Valid Passport, NID, Photo, and Birth certificate.
*TIN certificate
*Income Tax certificate (Last 2 years), Tax Return (ITR)
A4 size Photocopy)
A. Divorce certificate (“talak namah”) – if applicable
B. Death Certificate – if applicable
C. Birth Certificate of your children –if applicable
Copy of either birth certificate / proof of adoption / custody decree in case parents are divorced or
If applicable – death certificate of parent ( Swedish or English translation is required)
“Letter of consent” from legal guardian, including his / her passport copy – legalized by a notary public
(only required in cases the legal guardian is not present during the visa appointment)
*The conditions must be stated either on the insurance document or on a separate confirmation letter.
**The NOC letter is highly important for your Schengen visa application.(Pay slips should be included in it.
